75 years IHK member: CeramTec Plochingen
The "Chambers of Industry and Commerce" are an important factor in German economic life. At the interface between the state and the economy, they are service providers for their member companies and represent the interests of the regional economy. They also organise dual vocational training and issue export documents.
The "Esslingen-Nürtingen Chamber of Industry and Commerce" and CeramTec in Plochingen have now jointly celebrated a milestone in their long-standing cooperation. We have been a member since 3 June 1946, a full 75 years. Reason enough for Christoph Nold, Managing Director of the Stuttgart Region Chamber of Industry and Commerce, or more precisely the Esslingen-Nürtingen District Chamber, to visit our headquarters in Plochingen.
CEO Dr. Hadi Saleh warmly welcomed Christoph Nold, before both engaged in a lively exchange about current topics: What moves CeramTec, where can the Chamber of Industry and Commerce perhaps provide support and what challenges does the pandemic pose to both companies and the Chamber, what developments and trends are there in training...? One topic of conversation was also the intensive cooperation in training and further education. Something that is also particularly important to Hadi Saleh: "For us at CeramTec, well-trained skilled workers are the basis for our success - now and in the future. That's why the Chambers of Industry and Commerce are an important partner in working together to guarantee high-quality training for our young colleagues." CeramTec itself is valued as a reliable training company for many years and is one of the pillars for training activities alongside major players in the region, as Christoph Nold also confirmed. It was agreed that this cooperation should continue to be as positive and cooperative as before. Christoph Nold then presented Hadi Saleh with a certificate of honour for decades of membership. It will have a place of honour in the training workshop.
