CT Grow - Personal Development with CeramTec
Our two-year development programme for technical experts at CT GROW focuses on topics such as lateral leadership in project teams, moderation, communication models and team roles. ‘We created CT Grow to offer experts without management responsibility exciting development opportunities and to learn and grow together with them as a company,’ says Anne Wöhrle-Freimut, Senior Manager People Development & Learning.
Focus on personal development
The almost two-year programme with online and face-to-face sessions covers topics such as lateral leadership in project teams, moderation, communication models and team roles. The content of the programme promotes the individual development of each participant. But fun and networking are not neglected either: ‘CT Grow is also intended to offer colleagues the opportunity to get to know each other and exchange ideas across departments,’ explains Wöhrle-Freimut. ‘This allows them to expand their network within the company and learn a lot from each other.’
Networking within CeramTec
The personal exchange is particularly well received by the participants: they get to know several locations throughout Germany and there is also a close dialogue with the management. Teamwork also takes centre stage in various workshops, such as ‘Helping Hands’, where participants use kits to assemble prosthetic hands, e.g. for mine victims. They wore a glove and had to support each other in the task in order to be able to empathise with the challenge of doing everyday tasks with just one hand. The finished prostheses are distributed free of charge by Helping Hands in the affected regions.
"It's great to see that the programme has been so well received. The current group has already started in March 2024 and we are looking forward to learning and growing together with this group,’ summarises Anne Wöhrle-Freimut.
